2013 is just around the corner & I’ve never been more excited for a brand new year. I know I’ve been a bit sentimental on my Holiday/Christmas posts but toodles to that cause I’m already pulling up my sleeves for a better version of myself. I can no longer let people see the weak in me, positivity all the way! Let’s kill 2013 all together, shall we?

Anyway, check out this Holiday outfit I came up with when I had a post-Christmas celebration with my best blogger friends! Can I just say how happy their company is? Seriously, I’m always on #YOLO mode whenever I’m with them & that’s definitely not a bad thing! Just when you think things are about to fall apart, they spice up the mood & make everything a whole lot better.

So back to what I wore, it was a some sort of forced ensemble. I really wanted to pull off that pair of boots with matching Holiday-printed socks but my closet won’t juice up any grungy looking pieces. :( It’s definitely not my style but I guess, it’s time to change some rules & get out of my comfort zone once and for all! Will definitely try to work things out this new year. :) So what do you think? Yay or nay? Lol. #morepractice

Did you notice that I didn’t wear any accessory that night? I knew there would be so many things going on in my outfit so I decided not to add up on trinkets. Less is more!

ODD MAN OUT!!! These boys know best when it comes to making fun of my non-conscious body. No fail every time! I’m not complaining though — my “Burlesque” moment proved how each of them is a gentleman of their own. Hehe. At least I know I’m safe to drink with these motherchuckerlingly lovable creatures! LOL.

Don’t you love my neon pink lace dress? It was love at first sight and what I love more about it is that I snapped 50% off its original price! I forever love season-ender sales. :”> The only dilemma I have with my neon stash is that it turns my skin 5x darker. It’s a proven fact that anything neon makes me darker. Not that I hate being dark, but it’s been a fear I’ve had since grade school. My classmates used to tease me “nigga” & whatnot and I sort of regret those days when i used to love Mr. Sun more than anything else. :(

Nonetheless, it’s good to wear something loud and happy this coming new year! They say you’ll be in the exact same mood you are for the whole year on new year’s day. So I suggest, we make the first day of 2013 a bang!!
